Reaction start time: 8:30 AM EST 2/11/12
MD 6-3 was mixed with CDCL3 in an NMR tube, 1HNMR spectra recorded. Thionyl chloride (2 ┬ÁL, 0.01 mmol) and 1HNMR spectra was recorded continuously for 25 minutes. 1.5 hours later another spectra was taken.

MD 6-3 would not dissolve in CDCL3. When Thionyl Chloride was added MD 6-3 dissolved in CDCL3.
